Investments in the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) will exceed 15 billion rubles by 2027. This was announced by the General Director of PJSC "Sollers" Nikolai Sobolev.
According to him, the company has started production of components for passive safety systems, and a new press line is also under construction.
The company's plans include the integration of Russian ABS and ESP safety systems, modernization of the UAZ model range, as well as the launch of mass production of a full-size 7-seater frame Sollers SUV.
We highly appreciate the focused work on creating a favorable investment climate in the region, the well-established, constructive dialogue between the government and business, which in turn creates a favorable business environment for the implementation of strategic projects of the Sollers Group, and ensures the region's leading position in the industrial production index in the Volga Federal District.
Earlier it became known that UAZ does not plan a large-scale update of the Hunter SUV. The company noted that the car fully meets current tasks.
