BAW Russia has announced a reduction in retail prices for the BAW 212 frame SUV. The Adventure RUS version now costs 3,399,000 rubles instead of 3,445,000 rubles.
The Long Wind version costs 3,659,000 rubles instead of 3,749,000 rubles. Also, Long Wind RUS now costs 3,699,000 rubles (previously 3,799,000 rubles). The cost reduction was made possible thanks to efficiently built transport and financial logistics between China and Russia, and the strengthening of the ruble.
The BAW 212 has the same wheelbase as the Land Cruiser 300 and Prado (250) — 2860 mm, but is more compact in body: length — 4705 mm, height — 1999 mm, width — 1945 mm.
The gasoline version of the car is equipped with a 2 liter engine with 238 hp, an all-wheel drive system with inter-wheel differential lock and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BAW 212 Diesel received an engine manufactured by Foton (170 hp and 415 Nm).
