Chevrolet Captiva, a 7-Seat Crossover with a Turbo Engine, is Sold in Russia

Prices Start at 2.7 Million Rubles

Unofficial sales of the new Chevrolet Captiva, a rebadged Chinese Baojun 530 from the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture, continue in Russia. According to "Auto News of the Day", prices for the 2025 models start from 2,700,000 rubles.

In Voronezh, for this amount, they offer to bring a crossover in the Premier version, equipped with a leather interior, a panoramic roof, a media system with a vertical display, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, cruise control and a "winter package" with heated mirrors, seats and rear window. There are also 18-inch wheels and six speakers.

The seven-seat Captiva in Irkutsk is estimated at 2,850,000 rubles - the interior is simpler there: fabric trim and a sunroof instead of a panorama. The same amount is asked in Vladivostok for a similar configuration, and in another local company the price was raised to 3.43 million rubles.

Under the hood of all options is a 1.5-liter Daewoo S-TEC III turbo engine with 147 hp, working with a variator and front-wheel drive.

Against the background of "Chinese" cars like Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max and Geely Okavango, costing from 3 million rubles, Captiva looks like an attractive alternative.
