Local production of the popular Tank 300 SUV will be launched in Russia. The vehicle type approval (OTTS) certification has already been issued, and assembly will begin at the Kaliningrad facilities of Avtotor TransBalt LLC.
Only one configuration of the Tank 300 has been certified for the Russian market: with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 220 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This is the same modification that is currently sold as imported deliveries.
The cost of the SUV in Russian car dealerships ranges from 4.2 to 4.95 million rubles, depending on the year of manufacture and configuration.
The Tank 300 is a frame SUV built on a platform similar to Great Wall. The model received permanent all-wheel drive, differential locks, and a signature brutal design that has become one of the symbols of the new wave of the Chinese automotive industry.
