Mitsubishi Xpander returns to Russia: prices start from 2.26 million

The recycling fee does not apply to it

Sales of the seven-seater Mitsubishi Xpander have resumed in Russia through parallel imports. The model has retained its affordable price due to the fact that its engine power does not exceed the threshold for an increased recycling fee.

The model immediately occupied the niche of affordable family cars. Since the power of its 1.5-liter engine does not exceed 160 hp, the new rules for the recycling fee do not affect it.

Omsk suppliers offer the 2023 Xpander with a leather multi-steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, electronic "handbrake" with AutoHold, push-button start, and a media system with a touchscreen.

There you can also order the 2025 version — from the basic to the "off-road" Xpander Cross with increased ground clearance and a protective body kit.

Prices vary significantly across Russia. In Voronezh, the Xpander Highline costs from 2.45 million rubles, in Novosibirsk and Moscow — from 2.49 million. Private traders in the capital are asking 2.52 million for the Xpander Cross, and in Tomsk — 40 thousand more.

In Krasnodar, the car is estimated at 2.55 million, while the Cross version in Chita costs 2.79 million. Maximum prices are in Sochi and Nizhny Novgorod — up to 3.6 million rubles.

Both versions are equipped with a 1.5 naturally aspirated engine with 105 hp and a 4-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive — a simple and unpretentious combination, which is valued for its reliability.
