Omoda has halved its model line-up in the Russian market. The S5 and S5 GT sedans have been removed from it.
On the official website, the Omoda S5 and S5 GT have been moved to the "archived models" section. However, car dealers still have a few units left. Both are rebranded Chinese Chery Arrizo 5 Plus and Arrizo 5 GT, the cars have been on the Russian market for just over two years.
The S5 sedan went on sale in the spring of 2023, its "sports" version S5 GT appeared in the fall of the same year. By the end of 2025, the price of the former was 2.12 million rubles, the latter - 2.5 million rubles.
The press service of the brand explained that in Russia, Omoda plans to focus on the crossover line, as they are in high demand.
Thus, there is no direct replacement for the S5 and S5 GT. The Russian brand line now includes the С5 and С7 crossovers.
