Car license plates (license plates) with the letters "EKH" are no longer registered in Russia. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
According to the source, the reason for the ban is that this combination of letters in the license plate is considered a VIP pass on the roads and is associated with security forces.
A resident of Voronezh, Alexander P., decided to transfer the license plate with "EKH" to a new car. He removed the plates from the old car and left them for storage.
And when he wanted to return them, he found out that "I drive as I want" is prohibited due to a "fresh order from above".
According to an employee of the Voronezh traffic police department, the order applies throughout Russia.
At the same time, at the request of "EKH" there are license plate options for sale worth up to 2.68 million rubles, depending on the region and number.
