Serial production of the iCAR V27 hybrid SUV has started in China. This is reported by Autohome. In foreign markets, including Russia, the model will be sold under the iCaur brand. The new product is expected to be released in Russia in the first half of 2026.
The iCar V27 is noticeably larger than popular frame SUVs from Toyota. The car is 5055 mm long, 1976 mm wide, 1894 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2910 mm. In terms of dimensions, the model surpasses the Land Cruiser 250 (Prado) and is comparable to the Land Cruiser 300, while focusing on a more affordable price segment.
The novelty is based on a hybrid power plant with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The lineup includes rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. The top-end all-wheel drive version develops 455 hp, and the range on electric power reaches 200 km, which makes the model suitable not only for off-road driving, but also for daily use in the city.
The expected price in China is stated in the range of 200-300 thousand yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 2.3-3.45 million rubles. For early buyers, there is an early booking program: when making a deposit of 2,000 yuan, customers are promised bonuses, including VAT compensation and an additional gift.
The release of the iCaur V27 on the Russian market will expand the range of large Chery SUVs and increase competition in the hybrid SUV segment.
