Prices Creep Up: UAZ Rewrites Price Tags for All Models in 2026

Russian SUVs Become More Expensive

The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) has revised the recommended retail prices for all its manufactured models since January 2026. The adjustment affected both passenger SUVs and commercial vehicles. Depending on the model and configuration, cars have risen in price by 23-41 thousand rubles.

The largest price increase occurred in the "Profi" commercial family, which is actively used by small businesses and government entities. The UAZ "Patriot" and "Pickup" SUVs have risen in price by 31 thousand rubles, maintaining their positions as key models of the brand in the Russian market.

According to the updated price lists, the base cost of the UAZ "Hunter" now starts at 1 million 670 thousand rubles. The minimum price of the "Patriot" has increased to 1 million 870 thousand rubles, and the "Pickup" to 1 million 890 thousand rubles.

The most affordable model in the lineup remains the SGR, better known as "Bukhanka": its cost starts at 1 million 590 thousand rubles.

In the industry, the price increase is associated with an increase in production costs, higher prices for components and logistics. The adjustment looks planned and fits into the general trend of the Russian car market in early 2026, where automakers are gradually revising price tags amid a reduction in warehouse stocks and an increase in production costs.
