Electric Lada e-Largus vehicles have started operating in Mosgortrans

The vehicles are used to service urban infrastructure

AvtoVAZ handed over 33 electric vans to the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans", which will be used for prompt repair and maintenance of Moscow's surface urban transport infrastructure. The ceremonial handover of the electric vehicles took place at the "Mitino" electric bus site.

The new vehicles will expand the technical fleet that ensures the uninterrupted operation of city routes.

The Lada e-Largus became the first Russian electric vehicle with a deeply localized battery. The traction batteries were developed and manufactured in Russia.

The control and thermal management systems are also of domestic origin. Production of the electric vehicle is carried out at the "Lada Izhevsk" site on a full-cycle basis, including welding, body painting, and final assembly.

The Lada e-Largus is equipped with a synchronous permanent-magnet electric motor with peak output of up to one hundred twenty kilowatts. Two lithium-ion batteries are placed in the engine compartment and under the floor of the body. This solution made it possible to fully preserve the usable cargo compartment volume — up to 2,540 liters.

A digital display is installed on the dashboard, showing the condition of the electric vehicle's systems, the charge level, and the driving range. In the urban cycle, it reaches about 320 kilometers.
