Russians may be allowed to present their driving licenses and vehicle registration documents via the MAX messenger. This follows from the draft decree of the Russian government.
The document states that it may be allowed to present the certificate through the multifunctional information exchange service of the platform.
Russians will be able to provide the necessary information using a two-dimensional barcode. Inspectors will begin to verify the electronic document against the database of the Gosuslugi portal.
It is also indicated that changes will be made to the traffic rules of Russia. If the amendments are adopted, this method will be equated to the presentation of documents.
In December last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on confirming age via the MAX messenger when buying alcohol, cigarettes and energy drinks.
