Analysts are confident that the decline will occur as the number of cars assembled from Chinese components but in Russia (Tenet) and Belarus (Belgee) increases. Therefore, there will be fewer purely "Chinese" cars brought from China.

In 2025, sales of Chinese-made cars decreased by 26% and amounted to 672.4 thousand units. The market share of such brands decreased from 58% to 51%, and in December it fell to 42%.

The only brand that managed to exceed the mark of 100 thousand cars sold was Haval, with a figure of 173.4 thousand cars. For comparison, in 2024, the number of such brands reached five.
