TopSpeed experts have compiled a rating of the most reliable crossovers and SUVs capable of traveling over 200,000 miles, or almost 322,000 km, without serious breakdowns.
The leader is the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser. According to research, in 51.7% of cases, this SUV reaches this mileage without major malfunctions. J.D. Power experts estimate its average lifespan at almost 15 years. According to RepairPal, the average maintenance costs are $843 per year.
The second place is taken by the 2021 Toyota RAV4. The probability of overcoming 200,000 miles without serious breakdowns reaches 51.3%, and the average maintenance cost is $429 per year. The third is the 2021 Toyota 4Runner with an indicator of 47.9% and average costs of $514 annually.
The top five also include the 2021 Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Highlander. Their probability of passing 200,000 miles is 44.3% and 33%, respectively.
The top 10 also include the Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Suburban, Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Tahoe, and GMC Yukon 2021.
