The Gorky Automobile Plant has developed a new "Gazelle Logistic" model based on the production "Gazelle City" bus. The unification of the chassis, stepped frame, and panel-frame body made it possible to reduce the project cost.
The new "Gazelle Logistic" received pneumatic rear-wheel suspension. The cargo compartment is made transformable and equipped with folding shelving, as well as horizontal and vertical lashing rails for securing oversized cargo. The shelves can be folded completely if necessary.
A walk-through passage between the cab and the body makes the driver-forwarder's work easier. The automatic doors are closed using a remote control. The door design includes a two-leaf plug-sliding system on the right and a lift-up roller shutter at the rear, which allows the vehicle to pull up close to building walls.
The "Gazelle Logistic" is equipped with a G51A diesel engine meeting the Euro-5 standard, producing 149 hp and 330 Nm of torque. Maximum payload capacity is up to 1,200 kg.
