Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the KamAZ-master team took part in the international Russian-Chinese festival "ZimFestAmur". As part of the event, KamAZ presented K5 generation vehicles.
The exposition featured KamAZ-54901 semi-trailer tractors operating on liquefied natural gas. The model is equipped with a KamAZ R6 gas engine of the "Euro-5" environmental class with a capacity of 460 hp, an automated transmission and two cryogenic tanks with a volume of 1060 liters of LNG. The range reaches 1600 km on one fill. The use of liquefied natural gas reduces fuel costs.
They also demonstrated an all-wheel drive KAMAZ-43118 flatbed truck, municipal equipment on a KAMAZ chassis, and a vehicle with a drilling rig. These models are in demand in the region.
