A new Lada trademark has been registered in Russia — Lada Parus. The corresponding entry has appeared in the database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). The registration application was filed at the beginning of 2025.
The name of the rights holder is not disclosed in the documents. However, the correspondence address is listed as a site located next to the AvtoVAZ scientific and technical center.
The trademark has been registered under several classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services at once. This makes it possible to use the name not only for cars, but also for toy models, as well as for vehicle repair and maintenance services.
The name Parus was not the only option the company tried to secure. Along with it, other designations were also considered: Lada Tigris, Lada Ariva, Lada Yarus, and Lada Yashma.
