Yandex services will be integrated into new Changan cars: cars with them will appear in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Moldova, and Georgia. As part of the collaboration, the "Yandex Auto" multimedia platform will be integrated into new models of the Chinese automaker.
One of the first models will be the Changan UNI-S crossover, presented on April 7. Users will be able to control "Yandex Music" and "Books" through the car's multimedia screen without using a smartphone.
The services are combined with a single interface. This allows you to switch between music, podcasts, and audiobooks, as well as receive personalized recommendations. Search is available by genre, author, mood, and collections.
Synchronization with "Yandex ID" ensures a seamless transition between devices. The user can start listening at home and continue in the car from the same spot.
Yandex stated that the integration will allow the use of services in any scenario, including control via the car's display. The company also promised to expand the functionality of the platform.
