Volkswagen sales in Russia in the first quarter of 2026 increased by 352%: 3361 cars were registered. A year earlier, for the same period, the figure was 743 cars. The main volume of sales was provided by cars imported under alternative import schemes. At the same time, about 95% of the cars were produced in China.
The most popular model was the Tiguan crossover - 1108 cars, which is about a third of the demand.
The top 5 also included Tharu (775 units), Teramont (580 units), Tavendor and Talagon (185 units). In addition, 168 Teramont X crossovers were registered in three months, while there were no such deliveries a year earlier.
