Gleb Nikitin, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, announced on his Telegram channel that he had purchased a Volga K50 before the start of sales. According to him, he has already tested the car and gave it the following characteristics: "spacious, dynamic and comfortable."
Nikitin noted that the purchase is related to supporting the Russian auto industry and the need to check the characteristics of the model. He plans to use the operating experience to make recommendations for further localization of production in Nizhny Novgorod.
The Governor also reported that the Volga K50 is equipped with modern functions, including electronic driver assistants. He expressed confidence that the model will be in demand in the market.
Additionally, Nikitin emphasized the importance of the project for the region. It is about creating jobs, developing a component base and expanding the automotive cluster.
