Huawei and GAC Challenge Zeekr: New GT7 Wagon Travels up to 900 km and Accelerates Faster Than Porsche

The joint project of GAC and Huawei is entering the market. On June 22, the first production units of the Aistaland GT7 electric wagon rolled off the assembly line, with the official launch of the model scheduled for June 26. The new product targets one of the fastest-growing segments of the Chinese market – premium electric vehicles, currently dominated by models like the Zeekr 001.

The main feature of the GT7 is the new Huawei Chitu architecture. The car received the Huawei ADS 5 intelligent driving system, working in conjunction with a new generation lidar and the proprietary HarmonySpace digital platform.

Technically, the GT7 also looks very ambitious. Even in the basic versions, CATL batteries are used, and the top modification is equipped with a three-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain. This variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds.

Equally impressive is the claimed range – up to 900 kilometers on a single charge. To enhance comfort, the car is equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension with adaptive shock absorbers, and braking is handled by fixed four-piston calipers.

The GAC production facility can produce a finished car every 53 seconds. The factory supports over 100 thousand configuration options and 20 body colors. The company also states that it can deliver a car to the customer just two weeks after ordering.

The GT7 lineup includes four versions. The base model is priced at 219,900 yuan (about 2.4 million rubles), while the flagship three-motor modification costs 309,900 yuan (approximately 3.4 million rubles).

Initial results show high buyer interest. According to the manufacturer, the number of pre-orders exceeded 10 thousand in just five hours after applications opened.
