Niva hasn't had this in almost 50 years: the SUV may get LED headlights for the first time

LADA Niva Legend may receive another update as early as 2027. According to Togliatti blogger KhaDm, AVTOVAZ is preparing a minor modernization of the legendary SUV, the main feature of which will be LED headlights.

In addition to new lighting technology, the SUV is credited with a remote trunk opening button, a modified radiator grille, and a number of other exterior improvements. AVTOVAZ has not yet officially confirmed these plans.

At the same time, the current Niva Legend update has already become one of the most significant in recent years. The car received more than 100 new and over 60 modernized parts.

The main technical innovation was a new 90-horsepower engine from Niva Travel instead of the previous 80-horsepower unit.

The SUV was also equipped with ventilated front brakes, a new steering wheel with an airbag, a modernized heating and air conditioning system, central locking with a single key, additional sound insulation, and new wheel rims.
