Honda has unveiled the updated Fit for the Japanese market. Despite the considerable age of the current generation, which debuted back in 2019, the company continues to modernize one of the most practical compact cars in its model range instead of releasing a completely new version.

The main changes concern the trim levels and equipment. Instead of the previous Basic, Home, and Luxe trims, X and Z versions are now offered, while the sporty RS has received some equipment from the discontinued Luxe. The raised Crosstar modification also remains in the lineup.

The updated Fit has received new exterior design elements, improved paintwork, glass with UV and IR protection, and in expensive trim levels – heated seats. The RS version features a factory aerodynamic body kit, black decorative elements, sports pedals, and seats upholstered in suede with red stitching.

One of the model's main advantages remains the ULT (Ultra Seat) rear-row transformation system. Thanks to the folding and lifting seats, the small hatchback is capable of transporting bulky cargo, approaching the practicality of compact crossovers.

The technical part has not changed. The basic Fit is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 119 hp, while the e:HEV hybrid develops the same 119 hp but provides up to 254 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive is still available for all versions in the Japanese market, which remains a rarity for cars in this class.

In Japan, prices for the updated Honda Fit start at approximately 1.81 million yen (862 thousand rubles) and reach 2.96 million yen (1.41 million rubles) depending on the trim level and drive type.
