Toyota has introduced a new signature color, Honeycomb, which will be exclusive to the TRD Pro off-road versions of the 2027 model year. The new shade aims to diversify the vehicle palette, which in recent years has been dominated by white, black, and gray colors.
The Honeycomb color debuted on the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro pickup and the Sequoia TRD Pro SUV. According to the manufacturer, it changes perception under different lighting: it looks more subdued in the shade and becomes a rich yellow in the sun.
For the Tacoma TRD Pro and 4Runner TRD Pro, a similar shade called Hot Honey was prepared. Toyota positions it as a separate color, although visually the differences between the two variants are minimal.
In addition to the new paint, the company has made several technical changes to the TRD Pro lineup. All models now come with red tow hooks as standard. The suspension has also been updated: the vehicles received adjustable Fox QS3 shock absorbers, allowing settings to be chosen depending on road conditions.
Another innovation is the signature ISO-Dynamic seats with built-in damping elements. Previously, they were only available on select models, but now they are included in the equipment list for the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
