The updated Volkswagen Passat eHybrid has been introduced in the UK, which is now available in new Match and Black Edition versions, replacing the Life and R-Line trim levels. Despite the expanded list of equipment, prices have remained at the same level, which makes the new products especially attractive.
The Match version received IQ.Light matrix headlights, metallic paint, tinted windows, all-round cameras and advanced driver assistance systems, including emergency braking. Previously, all this was offered as options for an additional £3,900 — about $5,200. The Black Edition based on the former R-Line is additionally equipped with 19-inch Leeds wheels, a panoramic roof, a 15-inch display, a projection on the windshield and a full winter package with heated seats — a set that previously cost about $6,500.
Prices for the Passat Match start from £44,555 (approximately $58,450), and the Black Edition costs from £48,900 ($65,250) with the junior installation or from £51,420 ($69,945) in a more powerful version. Both modifications are equipped with a hybrid system based on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a 6-speed DSG: power — 204 or 272 hp
Standard equipment also includes the IDA voice assistant with ChatGPT, front seat massage, parking assistant with memory, adaptive cruise control, rear view camera and wireless charging. Pre-order starts on August 14. The Life and R-Line configurations will remain, but only for gasoline versions of the Passat.
