Jili-Motor is recalling over 17,700 Geely Emgrand vehicles sold in Russia from November 1, 2023, to the present.
The reason for the Geely Emgrand recall is a problem with the fuel tank filler cap.
Under certain conditions, the ventilation valve located in the filler cap may not function correctly, leading to negative pressure in the system.
As a result, the fuel tank may deform, and the fuel pump components may touch the inner surface of the tank, deforming or damaging it.
At all recalled Emgrand vehicles, dealer specialists will check the fuel tank filler cap, as well as the condition of the fuel tank and ventilation system. All work will be free of charge for owners.
