Russia sees good opportunities to increase car supplies to the Philippines market and organize industrial cooperation in the field, said Alexei Gruzdev, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
A representative of the department recalled that the GAZ Group is already working well in the Philippines, and there are also plans for cargo equipment.
Moreover, we can talk about both supplies and industrial cooperation. There are good foundations for this in the Philippines, which, in principle, are developing the automotive sector well.
The Deputy Minister added that, from the point of view of organizing assembly, GAZ is successfully operating in Vietnam, and some of the models already produced in Vietnam have been delivered to the Philippines.
Therefore, this practice can be developed. But there are also direct deliveries under various programs to the Philippines. Therefore, GAZ is successful in this sense. And KamAZ is considering the possibility.
