The XCite brand is preparing to leave the market, although demand for cars has been unexpectedly high. In August, 2338 cars were sold - the best result since the start of sales in May 2024. In total, by mid-September, buyers had already purchased about 14 thousand cars.
At the same time, XCite production stopped in the spring: 19.7 thousand copies of the X-Cross 7 and X-Cross 8 models were assembled. If sales remain at the current level, then warehouse stocks will run out by the end of autumn. By winter, dealers will have only rare cars left.
The brand's popularity is explained by prices: the X-Cross 7 actually repeats the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, and the X-Cross 8 is close to the Tiggo 8, but they cost significantly less - the basic version of XCite is available today from 1.924 million rubles. Cars are sold through the Lada network, and often customers who come for the Vesta leave with a new XCite thanks to discounts and credit programs.
