Sales of the flagship Zeekr 9X plug-in hybrid have started in China. This is the first such vehicle from Geely's premium brand, which previously specialized in pure electric vehicles. The model was released on September 29, and within an hour, it received more than 42,000 pre-orders. The starting price is 455,900 yuan, or about $63,910.
The dimensions of the SUV are impressive: length 5.24 m, width 2.03 m, height 1.82 m, wheelbase 3.17 m. It is slightly longer and wider than the Mercedes GLS, with C-shaped headlights, a massive grille, and round taillights. The body is available in five colors, on 22-inch wheels, with traditional door handles and air suspension, adjusting the ground clearance from 178 to 288 mm.
The six-seat interior in a 2+2+2 configuration offers trim in blue, beige, or brown. The center console features two 16-inch screens (or one, with a $700 discount), a 47-inch AR projector, and a ceiling-mounted 17-inch display for rear passengers with a response time of 3 ms. Seats with 22-point massage, four-way lumbar support, 180° rotation in the second row, a table, and curtains. Power doors, Eva voice assistant with AI. Safety is top-notch: a 48V active anti-roll bar minimizes roll and lifts the body in the event of an impact, plus systems for potholes and tire punctures at 120 km/h. The headlights project signals for other drivers.
Under the hood is a hybrid based on a 2-liter turbo engine: the base version with two electric motors producing 885 hp, a 55 kWh battery for 300 km on electric power and 1200 km combined (acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 s). The mid-range version has a 70 kWh battery for 380 km of pure electric range and 1250 km combined. The top version has three motors producing 1381 hp, 355 km EV and 1165 km combined (3.1 s). 6C charging at 900 V: 20-80% in 8:21 min, the ICE recharges on the go in 90 min. ADAS G-Pilot from H7 (700 TOPS, one LiDAR) to H9 (1400 TOPS, five LiDAR) with L3 autopilot, NOA, and emergency steering at 130 km/h.
Configurations range from $65,310 (Max) to $84,100 (top), with a discount until the end of the year-from $63,910 to $82,690.
