The famous Tokyo Motor Show Japan Mobility Show continues to fuel interest in the upcoming autumn exhibition. Following Toyota, Mazda has also hinted at a new model.
The teaser of the concept car, which will debut together with the new generation Mazda CX-5, has been published online. The image shows frameless windows and an elegant roofline, reminiscent of the 2017 Mazda Vision Coupe concept.
The car is equipped with cameras instead of mirrors, a panoramic roof and a sleek silhouette. Presumably, this is not a crossover, but a fastback, like the Audi A7 Sportback b Mercedes-Benz CLS.
The picture shows that the strip of side glazing is very narrow. It could well be a new sports car, if the car wasn't a four-door.
The company emphasized that the novelty "embodies the pleasure of driving in all its manifestations." Details were promised to be revealed on October 29, on the first press day of the exhibition.
