A new application for the Lada Salut trademark has been registered in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). AvtoVAZ is listed as the applicant.
The Lada Salut trademark falls under the 12th class of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS), which, among other things, includes automobiles.
It is likely that the Salut name will be given to a promising Lada model in the future. For example, under the Aura name patented in 2021, a business sedan based on the Vesta began to be produced in 2024.
Also, under the name Xcite, which was registered back in 2015, the production of the eponymous crossovers in St. Petersburg began nine years later.
In February, applications for registration of new trademarks Lada Tigris, Lada Ariva and Lada Parus appeared in the FIPS database. And at the end of 2024, AvtoVAZ patented two new trademarks — Retiva and Altra.
