AvtoVAZ plans to return to a five-day work week in 2026, according to the company's head, Maxim Sokolov.

AvtoVAZ switched to a four-day week on September 29. This regime could last up to six months, but it should be canceled if the situation in the car market improves, noted Sergey Zaitsev, chairman of the primary trade union organization of the automaker.
Lada sales in the Russian market in the period from January to September 2025 decreased by 24.9% compared to the same period last year, to 237,706 units. The brand's market share was 26.5%.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ's flagship crossover, Lada Azimut,won the "Best Industrial Design of Russia" award.
