AvtoVAZ has announced the recall of 33,450 Lada Granta cars due to a potential defect in the cardan element of one of the components. There is a minimal risk of loosening the connection in this part, the company's press service explained.
On Friday, December 12, Rosstandart announced that cars sold from June 6 to December 12, 2025, with VIN codes according to the appendix, are subject to recall.
We are talking about the cardan element of one of the Lada Granta components, in which there is a minimal risk of loosening the connection. It is unlikely that this will happen in real operation of the car, but AvtoVAZ decided to conduct a recall campaign to completely eliminate this possibility.
The company added that this issue is related to the component supplier, with whom the necessary process adjustments have already been worked out.
