An incident with the Jaecoo J8 crossover was recorded in Russia, the car spontaneously opened its windows and doors during severe frost. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Shot Proverka."
According to the owner, the car unexpectedly unlocked at night, as a result of which the windows and doors remained open for several hours. During this time, the interior froze, and snow blew inside. The owner noted that this is not the first case of spontaneous unlocking of the car.
Other owners of Chinese cars are also facing similar problems. In some cases, the windows open after the battery is discharged or due to poorly secured battery terminals, which can cause malfunctions in the electronics and central locking system.
Another possible reason is the automatic ventilation mode of the cabin. Under certain conditions, the system may activate on its own, including when the voltage drops. This mode, as specified, can be disabled through the car settings.
