Editor-in-chief of the magazine "Za Rulem" Maksim Kadakov outlined the price range for the Lada Azimut crossover that would allow the model to remain competitive on the Russian market. According to the expert's assessment, the price of the Lada Azimut should be within 1.9-2.1 million rubles.
Kadakov explained that such a level would give the new model an advantage over its main competitors. According to him, for successful sales the car should cost about 10% less than its classmates. This will make it possible to attract buyers in the mass-market crossover segment without going beyond market expectations.
AvtoVAZ had previously stated that it considers all crossovers priced up to 2.5 million rubles to be competitors of the Lada Azimut. The company presented the model in the summer of 2025 and has since been conducting its road and endurance tests, while also preparing production facilities in Tolyatti for mass production.
Serial production of the Lada Azimut is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. Sales are expected to start before the end of 2026. The final price of the Lada Azimut has not yet been officially announced.
