AvtoVAZ tested the 2026 Lada Vesta in a new climate testing chamber. The company checked the operation of the car's systems in a variety of weather scenarios — from arctic wasteland to drying heat.
The press service noted that the car successfully passed the cryo test — the remote engine start worked on the first try.
The climate chamber was developed for testing passenger cars and light commercial vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons. It allows setting temperatures in the range from +60 to −50 °C and humidity from 25 to 95%.
The complex, weighing 8 tons, has a special design — a body made of heat-insulating sandwich panels with a stainless steel coating and a one-piece welded floor with a drainage system.
