Imports of used cars to Russia in March 2026 increased by 9% compared to March 2025 and reached 32.6 thousand cars. The main flow came from Japan — 59.9%. Next are China (19.7%), South Korea (7.2%), Belarus (4.9%) and Georgia (3.2%). The most significant growth was shown by China (+115%) and Belarus (+94%), while imports from South Korea decreased by 66%.
Toyota remains the leader among brands with a share of 22.6%, followed by Honda (20.7%), Volkswagen (9.9%), Suzuki (5.6%) and BMW (4.2%). The maximum growth was recorded for Volkswagen (+145%) and Suzuki (+85%). Deliveries of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and KIA decreased by more than 40% due to the restriction of preferential recycling fees for cars with a capacity of up to 160 hp.
Among right-hand drive models, Honda Freed (1707 units) leads, followed by Honda Stepwgn (1464), Honda Fit (1237), Toyota Corolla (1109) and Suzuki Jimny (1060).
In the segment of left-hand drive cars, Volkswagen Tayron (551 units) takes the first place. The top also includes Toyota Corolla (1109), Audi Q3 (422), Hyundai Elantra (329) and Audi A3 (323).
