AvtoVAZ has announced a voluntary recall of 8,200 Lada Xray crossovers manufactured from October 2021 to April 2025. The vehicles will be equipped with an emergency call system (ERACS) free of charge, Rosstandart reported.
All vehicles affected by the campaign will be retrofitted with a control unit for the emergency call system, which automatically transmits the vehicle's coordinates in the event of an accident.
The list includes 8,209 vehicles with VIN codes specified in the official appendix to the document. All work will be carried out free of charge at official dealers.
The recall is part of a planned program to modernize Lada vehicles and bring them into compliance with new generation safety requirements.
