Omoda C5 Returns All-Wheel Drive in Russia - But It's Slower and More Expensive

The new version is only available in the top configuration

The Omoda C5 crossover has once again received all-wheel drive in Russia after the update. Previously, the restyled model was only offered with front-wheel drive.

The all-wheel drive version appeared in the maximum "Style" configuration at a price of 2.85 million rubles — 150 thousand rubles more expensive than the similar front-wheel drive version.

The modification is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp, but instead of a "robot", a different transmission is used. At the same time, you had to pay for all-wheel drive with dynamics: acceleration to 100 km/h increased to 11.5 seconds.

The crossover also became heavier and received a larger fuel tank, but lost a little in ground clearance. Fuel consumption increased to 8.3 liters per 100 km.

After the restyling, the model received a new front design and large screens in the cabin — up to 15.6 inches in the top version.
