Lada cars will receive a new propane modification. The project is being implemented by the ATS group of companies from Tolyatti, AvtoVAZ's partner in creating methane (CNG) modifications of Vesta and Largus models.
It is currently unknown which specific models will begin to be equipped with propane cylinders, but the equipment is already being tested on the Lada Granta. The capacity of the gas cylinder is 42 liters.
Alexey Suchkov, Director of ATS GC, noted that the company intends to convert at least 100–200 cars to propane, but it all depends on demand. The propane version will be more expensive than the gasoline version by approximately 50 thousand rubles.
