The causes of the fire have not yet been established: according to one version, the fire started spontaneously, according to another, after a minor accident. The driver managed to leave the car as soon as the fire began to spread, which made it possible to avoid casualties.
Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. The remains of the burned-out car were literally scraped off the roadway, and specialists began to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
As a reminder, arson attacks on dealerships and vehicles of these brands have become more frequent in the United States in recent months. According to Reuters, several cases have been recorded since January 2025, including arson attacks with Molotov cocktails in Las Vegas, Oregon, and Colorado. The FBI is investigating these incidents as possible acts of domestic terrorism, linking them to protests against Elon Musk's union and his role in US politics. The attacks have led to final losses: in one incident in Las Vegas, five Tesla cars burned down, with damage amounting to thousands of dollars.
