A brand new UAZ pickup with a 2.0-liter JAC turbodiesel engine of Yelabuga assembly paired with a Minshine Auto automatic transmission was spotted in the south of the country. The car was spotted by a subscriber of the Telegram channel RCI News in Kislovodsk, where tests of UAZ plant equipment are carried out in a hot climate.
It is known that in November 2025, UAZ plans to restyle the "Patriot" and "Pickup" models, in which the car will receive the above-mentioned engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, and the automatic transmission will become available for installation in 2026. Photos of the new engine compartment and interior have not yet been published.
