Rare Volga with Toyota engine and almost no mileage put up for sale in Saransk

The owner asked for 4 million rubles for the GAZ-21 after overhaul

A 1969 GAZ-21 Volga with a mileage of 2,410 km has appeared for sale in Saransk. In 2017, the car underwent a complete renovation with painting.

A Toyota 4GR0343507 engine assembled with an automatic transmission, also manufactured by Toyota, was installed in the car. Elements of the front suspension, braking system, steering, fuel system and rear axle from GAZ-31105 were installed.

The package includes a SNKF power steering, as well as a Toyota exhaust system fully adapted to the car.

This modernization noticeably distinguishes this specimen from standard Volgas of that time, while maintaining the appearance and atmosphere of a classic model.
