The Russian car market showed interesting results in the penultimate week of the year: Lada Iskra entered the top ten best-selling models for the first time, and the Tenet T7 crossover topped the SUV ranking.
Lada Granta remains the sales leader, with 2,785 vehicles of this family sold last week. Second place was taken by Tenet T7 with 1,286 cars sold, becoming the most popular SUV in the country for the first time. Haval Jolion, which previously held the lead among crossovers, took third place with 1,246 units. They are followed by Haval M6 (1,200 units), Tenet T4 (1,125 units), and Lada Vesta (1,105 units), while Lada Niva Travel closes the top seven with 1,042 cars sold.
The newcomer to the market, Lada Iskra, is in eighth position with 777 cars sold, entering the top 10 for the first time. Belgee X50 and Lada Niva Legend close the top ten with 761 and 676 cars, respectively. In total, 28,313 new passenger cars were sold in Russia in a week – 3.2% more than in the previous week, but 1.2% less than in the same period in 2024.
