AvtoVAZ has presented the new Lada Azimut crossover to the general public for the first time. The car can be seen at the "ProDvizheniye" automobile festival, which is taking place in Moscow at VDNH.
The company first showed the novelty at the SPIEF-2025 in June, and production of the car will begin in the first half of 2026.
In the initial configuration, the Lada Azimut will be equipped with modernized engines of its own production with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters, with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, respectively, as well as a variator or a six-speed manual gearbox.
In the future, the crossover will receive a turbocharged version of the engine with a capacity of 150 hp with a classic automatic transmission.
