AvtoVAZ has received a patent for an industrial design of the new Lada Azimut crossover. The application revealed the authors of the design - Suslaev S.S., Suslov N.V., Glotov V.V. and Ejen Akkerman - a specialist who previously worked at Renault Group.
Lada Azimut is a compact crossover on a modified Lada Vesta platform. The length of the car is 4416 mm, the wheelbase is 2675 mm.
The crossover will have front-wheel drive. The engine range will include naturally aspirated engines with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT. Later, it will be supplemented by a 150 hp turbo engine paired with an "automatic" transmission.
In the basic version, the crossover will receive a rear-view camera, a digital cluster with two 10-inch screens, a tire pressure monitoring system and LED optics.
Richer trim levels will include electric adjustment of the steering wheel and seats, two-zone climate control, wireless charging for smartphones, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, an electric tailgate, a driving mode selection system, a surround view camera system, and an electric parking brake.
Production of Lada Azimut will start in the first half of 2026. Sales may begin at the turn of the second and third quarters.
