UAZ Resumes Operations After Corporate Holiday

The company will continue to adhere to a five-day work week

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) resumed production of cars on August 4 after a planned corporate holiday that lasted from July 28 to August 3.

The car factory still operates on a 5-day work week, the press service emphasized. The UAZ branch in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Zavolzhsky Motor Plant (ZMZ), has also resumed production.

During the conveyor shutdown, scheduled maintenance of equipment was carried out at the production sites as part of investment projects. Shipment of finished products was carried out as usual.

Earlier, information appeared in the Russian media about the possible transition of UAZ to a four-day work week due to a decrease in demand for domestic car brands.
