Belgee CEO Gennady Svidersky announced at a recent press conference that the Belpromproekt Institute is currently developing projects to expand the welding shop and a new stamping shop, after which a tender for construction will be announced. Previously, the plant had already modernized production, which made it possible to increase the number of cars produced to 120 thousand per year.
Currently, the plant produces 3 car models - X50 (Geely Coolray), X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) and S50 (Geely Emgrand). Earlier, motoram.ru wrote that the Belgee model range is planned to be replenished: the Geely Xingyuan electric compact hatchback, Belgee X80 (Geely Galaxy Starship 7) and Belgee S50 (Geely Emgrand IV) with factory LPG.
