Ford Fiesta has once again become the most sought-after used car in the UK, confidently taking first place in sales in the third quarter of 2025. During this period, Britons purchased 78,062 units of the model – a noticeable lead over the Vauxhall Corsa, which sold 64,585 units.
The used car market in the country continues to grow: the total volume of transactions increased by 2.8%, which is the best indicator since 2021. Demand for compact models was particularly active – they accounted for about a third of all purchases, reflecting buyers' interest in practical and economical cars.
At the same time, the structure of preferences is changing. Sales of cars with gasoline engines grew by only 1.9%, while demand for diesel models decreased by almost 3%. Despite this, the segment remains one of the key ones in the total market volume, and the Fiesta strengthens its status as the main favorite of British motorists.
