The company "Modern Transport Technologies" has introduced a new city bus Citymax 8 to the market. The model is designed specifically for medium-length routes and takes into account the requirements of the "Accessible Environment" program. The manufacturer focuses on ease of boarding, safety and advanced options for operation in large cities.
The bus is designed for 32 passengers, with 22 seats equipped with seats. The main seats are located in the direction of travel, and three folding seats are installed on the accumulation area. The cab has an additional service seat. The design includes a low floor level, a wide double-leaf door and a dedicated area for a wheelchair or stroller with an armrest and a button for communication with the driver. Features also include a low glazing line and a "clean floor" system, and a smooth ride is provided by the rear air suspension.
Options are available for bus depots: air conditioning, video surveillance, auto-informer, USB charging, passenger counting, tachograph. The model received a G51D diesel engine of the "Euro-5" standard with a capacity of almost 150 hp with heating of the fine fuel filter, and the cooling system is complemented by a 30-kilowatt heater. It serves two liquid heaters and two convectors, maintaining comfort in the cabin. Safety is ensured by a power frame "closed circle", composite panels, disc brakes and ABS and ASR electronics. The lighting is fully LED.
