Production of seat cushions for Lada cars has begun in the Samara region. Vesta and Aura will be the first to receive the import-substituted products, followed by the flagship crossover Azimut next year.
The project was implemented by the company "Penny Bereg" with the support of the Industrial Development Fund, which provided 282 million rubles. The total investment in the project amounted to 424 million rubles.
The company has already mastered the production of Standard, Comfort, and Sports type cushions. The Standard version provides elasticity and quick shape recovery, Comfort cushions feature improved ergonomics, and the Sports version is designed for a high level of fixation and increased loads.
The annual output will be up to 150 thousand sets. Previously, one of the Western companies was the manufacturer of seat cushions for Vesta.
